Donation Policy

All donations made to Preetilife Welfare Foundation are considered final and non-refundable. When you make a donation, your contribution is immediately allocated towards our charitable programs and activities, including:

• Elderly care and old age home operations
• Healthcare services for the underprivileged
• Skill development programs
• Community welfare initiatives
• Administrative and operational expenses

Refund Eligibility

We may consider refund requests only under the following exceptional circumstances:

• Duplicate Transactions: If you were charged multiple times for the same donation due to a technical error
• Incorrect Amount: If you were charged an amount different from what you intended to donate due to a system error
• Unauthorized Transactions: If a donation was made without your authorization (subject to verification)
• Technical Failures: If your donation was processed but you did not receive a confirmation and can provide evidence of the error

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

• Contact us within 7 days of the donation date
• Provide your donation receipt number or transaction ID
• Explain the reason for the refund request
• Provide any supporting documentation (bank statements, error screenshots, etc.)

Processing Time

If your refund request is approved:

• We will process the refund within 7-10 business days
• The refund will be credited to the original payment method
• Bank processing times may vary; please allow an additional 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account

Cancellation Policy

For recurring donations or pledges:

• You may cancel future recurring donations at any time by contacting us
• Cancellation requests should be made at least 3 business days before the next scheduled payment
• Past donations that have already been processed are not eligible for refund

Tax Implications

Please note that if you claimed a tax deduction for your donation under Section 80G and subsequently receive a refund, you may need to report this to tax authorities. We recommend consulting with a tax professional for guidance.
